i do not like cold weather, and thats putting it mildly. i've said numerous times, "i should have been a bear". and now, dang-it, an Alberta clipper has descended upon us. i've been known to be in terribly foul moods in winter. its more than just feeling that cold chill to the bone. its more than daylight hours are much shorter and i need more sunshine. i dont like bundling and layering! i love a sense of freedom when i'm dressed..and to me that means short pants, sandals and short sleeve shirts! and just being able to walk outdoors without putting on more clothes!
Seems like this has been an excessively long winter. at my age, time seems to fly by...except in winter. bleh.
it will be spring soon, and i will be a totally different person, i hope.

Hang in there Marilyn!!! And as I type this snow is falling once again. I don't like it either and stir crazy is just about what I am. I've gained at least 15 pounds this winter and it isn't over yet. I hate all those clotes you have to wear in this weather because I look like wooly toothed beast in them!! Maybe warm weather will be here soon.

ReplyDeleteI see you have been by my latest blog. I'll bet you have had sawmill gravy and just didn't know what it was. It's the white gravy made from the drippings after frying sausage or bacon. Most of the time there will be a little sausage crumbled up in the gravy. Country white gravy is basically the same thing. As for the tent meetings, you probably don't want to attend one of those in this day and age! Billy Sunday and Billy Graham both have held tent meetings but those that hold them today surely can't be put in the same category as those two men! LOL!!! See ya Sunday.
